It's very important when buying acidic foods like tomatoes to buy in glass jars or BPA free cans.
The acid in the fruit will eat away at the lining of the can and contaminate the food with BPA.
Muir Glen is a Campbell's owned company, but they are an organic division and only use BPA free cans.
I am hoping that buy supporting this line, Campbell's will see they can afford to go BPA free with ALL of their products.
These go on sale at Whole Foods quite often and sometimes you can even find them on store clearance racks.
