Are GMO's already labeled?

I got this today in an email from Green Deals.
I wonder if it is true?
Anyone have any thoughts?

    Snopes has this to say: http://www.snopes.com/food/prepare/produce.asp

    It pretty much says, don't count on GM produce being labeled as such on the PLU codes because that's not what the codes are for.

    It's true that organics start with a 9, but GMOs aren't labeled.
