HOT Deal Alert! Crockpots for $7.49

CVS is offering up their Christmas goods at 75% off.
This includes the small appliances and toys they stocked for Christmas.

I got a huge wall map of the world for $4.99 instead of $20!
I am pretty excited about it.
Crock Pot Classic Slow Cooker Assorted Colors, 5 Quart
Their 5 QT Crockpots that are normally $30 are ringing up at just $7.49.
I thought about buying a back up, but my Crockpot is pretty new and I am crossing my fingers I don't need a back up for years.
Then I thought about buying 3 or 4 to store away for when I get invited to Bridal Showers and Weddings.
Then I realized I can't even remember the last time I got invited to a Bridal Shower or Wedding.

So that means there are still about 8 Crockpots left on the shelves at my local store.
How about yours?

If you find any treasures, please let is know in the comments. We'd love to hear about your bargains!

My CVS Shopping Trip

Here is the breakdown of my shopping trip: CVS/pharmacy

Retail Value: $39.44
Sale Price    : $27.49
ECBS used  : $20.00
Coupons      : $  4.50
Total           : $   3.49
With Tax    : $   5.35

My OOP was $5.35 AND they gave me back $8.00 in ECBs for a PROFIT of $2.65

It takes a month or 2 to get your ECBs built up, but as you can see, it makes all the difference.
They PAID me to shop!

2 noteworthy deals were :

Pantene Nature Fusion.

A924993
A plant based shampoo and conditioner and also a plant based bottle.
It's not organic, but it's a stepping stone. And it sends a message to Pantene that we want more products like this. I like to reward good behavior. Normally $5, they were on sale 2/$6.97. I had a coupon for $3 off 2, plus I got $1 ECB back, bringing the price to $1.50 each, or 65% off.

Physician's Formula Organic Wear Mascara

On Sale Spend $10 get $7 ECBs back.
Price: $10.49
ECBs $7.00
Final Price $3.49 or 71% off.

I am slowing switching all of my make up over to paraben free. I wish I could dump it all out and replace the whole lot with organic, but then we wouldn't be able to eat that week. Buying it piece by piece as the good deals become available I can convert to safer cleaner make up without impacting my budget.

Hope you found this helpful!

Zarbee's Natural Cough Syrup - practically free at CVS

At CVS this week you can pick up a bottle of Zarbee's All Natural Cough Syrup for $6.
Then they will print out $6 in ecbs on your receipt. So you are basically getting it for free.
Us that $6  in ecbs next week to buy organic make up, all natural cleaning supplies, vitamins, whatever is on sale, etc etc.

I've tried Zarbee's and I feel it can best be described as glorified honey. If you feel honey is effective to soothing a cough, then you will like the results of this product.

A fantastic deal on Living Social Today

I love shopping at CVS. When done correctly, I typically get 70-80% retail value. And that is seriously typical.
If you waltz in off the streets and try to grab something off the shelve, you will think I am crazy and don't know what I am talking about. However- when you go in prepared, CVS card, coupons, and Extra Bucks in hand, you can score some AMAZING savings.

Today on LivingSocial.com you can get a $20 CVS voucher for only $10. Automatically a 50% savings. Combine that with a sale on organic shampoo or makeup, add your coupons, and you can get ORGANIC for pennies to the dollar.

This is one I wouldn't pass up.

GRAB this deal HERE.

This is my personal link, so I may get credits if you purchase through this link.

**THIS DEAL IS SOLD OUT. **

Saving in one place Pays for Another

CVS/pharmacy

Today I shopped at CVS and got $65 worth of stuff. They were on sale for about $35. I used $25 in ecbs and had a $10 CVS cash card. I paid $0. They gave me back $14.32 in another CVS cash card and ecbs. I purchased paper towels, laundry detergent, medicines, candies, feminine products, etc etc. All useful stuff. I buy them on sale so when I need them I have them and don't have to run down to the store and "pay the price." Not only am I buying items I need at a better price, but saving all this money on non-food items, means I now have more money to spend buying what I really want: Organic Fruits and Vegetables. If I've just saved $65 at CVS, it makes it alot easier to spend a little extra on organic carrots and potatoes.

This week at Safeway the regular Baby Peeled Carrots were $1. The Organic Baby Peeled Carrots were $1.50. Only $.50 more. I can afford that $0.50 because I saved so much stinking money at CVS.
I love CVS!

I am a dedicated follower to www.thefrugalfind.com She has taught me a great deal about what I know about couponing. I see no reason to reinvent the wheel so head on over to her site and learn all you can. I especially encourage you to watch her free videos. She has videos on how to coupon, how to organize your coupons, and goes through each store separately, showing you how to shop at that store. You'll learn all about ecbs at CVS.
