I tried to list all the current coupons that have All Natural or Organic varieties to them. The toothbrush coupon I threw in  because that coupon should mean 2 free toothbrushes if you wait for a sale. And I love free. Even if you don't use manual toothbrushes, pick them up for free and donate them to a shelter or the next natural disaster relief. One of the beautiful things about coupons is that it allows us to do good and share the wealth.

Coupons: Silk, All You, and Kashi

A couple coupons of interest this morning. First is a high value $1 coupon for Silk Fruit & Protein. This is nice all on its own, but also a base for green smoothies. Throw some veggies in the blender, add some ice and Silk and you are good to go.

The second coupon is for $0.50 off the May issue of the ALL YOU magazine. This magazine is usually loaded with coupons and pays for itself with the values available inside. There is an index of all the coupons for each issue on the first or second page. So thumb through  and see if there are any coupons of products you use and if so use the coupon below to purchase the magazine and start clippin'.  I actually have a subscription for this magazine. It not only has great coupons, but money saving tips and recipes throughout. However-- I bought it with a great deal. I only pay $.50 an issue. Don't pay for a subscription until you find an awesome deal.

Lastly is a Kashi coupon. I have mixed feelings about Kashi. They are not the best, but they are better than Fast Food. Sometimes we need something premade that just needs to be heated so we aren't tempted to run through the drive thru.

Open Nature Hot Dogs

Log in to your Just 4 U account with Safeway and you should find a coupon for Open Nature Hot Dogs for $2.99, limit of 2 packages.



This is the lowest price I've seen on these and I am definitely going to scoop them up and stick them in my freezer for last minute summer BBQ's.

Open Nature is a Safeway brand line that makes me SOOOO happy. They are not organic, but they have extremely high standards and by not going after the organic label they can keep the prices to a reasonable level.

In regards to the hot dogs, they are MSG free, so nitrites/nitrates, no artificial colors or flavors, no benzoates, no antibiotics, and completely uncured.

It's basically the best hot dog I have found in this price range.
If you want to pay double that, you can get a tasty uncured dog from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods.
Other than that, you'd need to make the hot dog yourself. And while I am dabbling in making my own cleaners, hot dogs are just a little bit above my skill level at the moment.

Kristi and I discovered something else too. We both live in Livermore, but she shops at the Safeway by her house and I shop at the one by mine. My Safeway carries the uncured hot dogs, her's does not.  If you can't find them at your store make sure you tell them! If they realize people are interested, they will start carrying them.
