I just love shopping at our Trader Joe's. I enjoy the atmosphere, the unusually friendly staff, and the surprisingly low prices on many food items.
They have an impressive produce section for such a small store and pretty good selection of organic produce. Here are a few of my purchases from the other day:
Organic Russet Potatoes, 5 lb. bag, $3.49 ($0.69/lb.)
Organic Sweet Potatoes, 3 lb. bag, $3.69 ($1.23/lb.)
Organic small Fuji Apples, 2 lb. bag, $2.49 ($1.25/lb.)
I could have bought a lot more but I practiced restraint!
